Architecting Multi-Role SaaS Dashboards & Stripe Subscriptions in Laravel
When building our Laravel-based Learning Management System (LMS), we needed a clean separation between Student, Instructor, and Admin workflows alongside reliable Stripe payment processing.
Route::middleware(["auth", "role:student"])->prefix("portal")->group(function () {n Route::get("/courses", [CourseController::class, "index"]);n Route::post("/checkout/stripe", [StripeWebhookController::class, "createSession"]);n});
By decoupling payment verification into idempotent Stripe webhook jobs and using eager-loaded Eloquent relationships, the LMS handles concurrent quiz submissions with sub-100ms query times.
